Abu is a senior studying Philosophy with a supplementary major in Arts & Letters Pre-Health. He grew up in the NYC area, before eventually attending high school in Islamabad, Pakistan— a wonderful opportunity to connect with his cultural heritage. Abu has spent most of his time at Notre Dame working with youths in a variety of different settings, including as an intern with The Winch in London, as a counselor at Camp Sweeney, and as an advising fellow for Matriculate. By some metrics, Abu is Stitch’s biggest fan (à la Lilo & Stitch). He also loves cooking and hosting dinners, so reach out if you’d like to share a meal! He is thrilled to be working as Director of Social Concerns and looks forward to meaningful engagement with the city of South Bend and Notre Dame.
