The Executive Cabinet of Student Government consists of Department Directors that were nominated by the President and Vice President and approved by the Senate at the beginning of the Administration's term in April. The Executive Cabinet meets weekly to set goals, coordinate projects, and discuss pertinent needs of the student body. In addition to weekly Cabinet meetings, Department Directors also hold meetings with their Department members.

Each Department of Notre Dame Student Government consists of general members, which are selected by the Department Directors. Members from all across campus work on projects and initiatives under the vision of the Director.
