Senate: Student Outreach

The Student Outreach Committee will aim to bridge the gap between the student body and Student Government and the administration. The purpose of this committee is to continually have Student Government's actions reflect the desires of the student body. Formally the Communications Department, this committee's responsibilities include marketing student government sponsored events, issuing press releases, publishing weekly, campus-wide stall notes, and gathering student feedback and suggestions through management of focus groups and the first ever Student Census. Students with a background in graphic design are also valuable additions to this committee.
