Angel for a Day: Sponsored by Knott Hall

  • Angel for a Day is an event (mainly thru Knott guys) where we bring kids from Shelter for the Homeless and other various local organizations to campus and we have bunches of Easter/Spring themed games for them to do.

Off-Campus Easter Egg Hunt at Tippecanoe Place as well as fun and games at the College Football Hall of Fame: Sponsored by the Alumni-Student Association

  • At least 15 students needed
  • Set-up and orientation for the volunteers at the College Football Hall of Fame begins at 12:30; volunteers for hiding the eggs around the Mansion at 2:00pm, and additional volunteers needed for organizing and setting-up the Egg Hunt at 4:00pm

Senate: Social Concerns

The Social Concerns Committee addresses student needs and concerns as they relate to socioeconomic issues, religious diversity, sustainability, and the student body’s role in global events. The committee also promotes campus solidarity through related education and awareness activities. Among other initiatives, the committee has worked on increasing locally-produced food options on campus and hosting a farmer's market, obtaining the option to donate to charitable causes with domer dollars, fundraising for the Catholic Worker House, increasing student participation in the University’s human development initiatives, and initiating the first annual CommUniversity day.
