Vice President Rebecca "Becca" Blais

Becca is a junior studying Political Science and Peace Studies. Originally from New Smyrna Beach, FL, she now resides in Farley Hall. Becca has served in groups/programs such as Be The Match, the Appalachia program, and Dean's Fellows. Early on, she found her passion in Student Government, serving as a member of the Election Committee in Judicial Council, the Director of Internal Affairs in the Ricketts-Ruelas executive cabinet, and in the Committee for Sexual Assault Prevention.

Becca joined Student Government because she wanted to make a difference on campus and beyond. She is passionate about improving sexual violence policy on campus, student safety measures, diversity and inclusion initiatives, health resources, community engagement features, and much more. As Chairwoman of Senate, she has reformed the body to function using a new committee structure that encourages fruitful discussion on the biggest issues on campus. Feel free to stop by Becca’s office anytime for a cup of tea or to chat about Student Government and life!
