Council of Representatives (COR)

The Council of Representatives serves as an advisory board to the student body president. Through weekly meetings, the president introduces agenda topics that aid in his or her decision making needs. Officially, as stated in the Constitution, “The Council of Representatives shall be the venue for leaders of the various student organizations to meet and advise the Student Body President on all matters concerning the Student Union as a whole. It shall serve as an advising body to the Student Body President as well as approve the nominations for appointed offices, approve the Student Union budget, deliberate and approve any changes to the Student Union budget at any time throughout the year, and serve as a forum for discussion and decision making regarding the uses of the Collaboration Fund.”
